Babies & Toddlers

The youngest children in the nursery are cared for by sensitive, experienced adults and we provide plenty of natural light, space, stimulation and access to open-ended play resources.

Pre-school

Children tend to work on long-term projects reflecting their interests, supported by thoughtful educators. The children access our Ateliers where our artists support and deepen their investigations.

Small School

Reflections Small School takes children from Reception to the end of Year 2 and is a deliberate continuation of our project-based approach in the nursery, with a full day in the Forest on Thursdays and Beach School on a Friday.

Forest School

We offer forest sessions five mornings a week for 42 weeks from September to July, taking children by minibus into our own woodland area, 15 minutes from the nursery where they climb and jump off trees, make trails and work with their imaginations.

Beach School

Children begin their beach day in the garden often preparing lunch for themselves and cooking it on the fire or in our homemade (by the children) pizza oven. In the afternoon they go to Goring beach exploring and enjoying the seascape.

Edible Garden

During lunch one day Lottie (3:8) asked ‘Where do chips come from?’ The conversation quickly developed into an edible garden area for children to grow their own fruit & vegetables, supported by our two gardener-educators.
